Santiago Softball is off to a roaring start. Stop by on Mondays and check out all the kids and their parents, grandparents and coaches! Good ol' fashioned fun is the name of the game and the kids are having a softball fun time.
Big THANKS to all the volunteers and coaches working so hard to make this new program work. They are all carrying on the dream started so many years ago so that children can enjoy a hotdogs, popcorn and a ball game!
Calling all Lions! The Sherburne County Fair needs you! It is time once again to show our Lion spirit and volunteer to work for the Sherburne County Fair. Remember, the fair gives the Lions a chance to stand out and show their spirit while benefiting as a club as well. You can volunteer to work in the Grandstands or the Beer Gardens. Be watching for the sign up sheet from Lion Carole Iten.
WOW! Our President Lion Jason Gustafson has stepped up to the plate and volunteered to be the chairperson for the Santiago Family Fun Festival! Next time you see him, buy him a beer and say THANKS!
BIG THANKS! Friend of Lions Dave Kohl made 10 sets of keys for the concession stand and restrooms at the park. No charge! Folks like Dave need a smile and "Thank You" when you see them......a beer never hurts either!

Lion Donny Brynman has been working on getting our bleachers safe for the kids. They are really going to look nice for folks and be safer for all the kids. Remember to say hi to Donny give him a huge "Thank You" and then ask him about his new son, Cody. Pround new Daddy has even decided coaching softball is a good idea! Come see him at the fields on Mondays while he is coaching the softball kids. Volunteer some time to come out and help get the bleachers finished.
