Santiago Lions Club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community. Their volunteer efforts include projects that benefit individuals and families.
Why should I become a Lion?
The main reason to become a Lion is to serve your community.
Make your community a better place for you, your family, others and their families.
How much time does this take?
It is a time commitment that you decide.
2 hours a year? 1 event a year? 1 project a year? Okay! Your time commitment is what you decide. Lions know that family and job come first.
What will I do?
You decide! Use your favorite hobby or passion to teach a child. Help mow a lawn for someone in need. Visit someone that is ill or infirm. Want to help with the Christmas for kids, Easter for kids, Softball for kids....GREAT! Collect hearing aids for hearing programs all over the world. Lions make sure every child is tested for hearing when they are born. Walk for Sight to help provide glasses all over the world to those in need. The possibilities are endless and you decide.
Lions Club members can and do:
Interested in becoming a Lion? WANT TO KNOW MORE?
Membership in a Lions club is by invitation from a local club. If you are interested in membership, stop in to Bailey Ray's on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. and meet the local Santiago Lions Club. Let a Lion know you are considering membership and want to attend a meeting to learn more. Then, ask a member for a membership application.
